Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and passionate Child Care teachers to oversee toddler/ infant classrooms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. This role requires strong leadership skills, a commitment to early childhood education, and the ability to engage effectively with both staff and families.
Duties
- Develop and implement educational programs that promote the physical, emotional, and social development of children.
- Supervise and mentor teaching staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their professional growth.
- Ensure compliance with state regulations and licensing requirements related to child care operations.
- Foster positive relationships with parents and guardians, addressing their concerns and providing regular updates on their child's progress.
- Manage daily administrative tasks including budgeting, scheduling, and record-keeping.
- Collaborate with community organizations to enhance resources available for children and families.
- Conduct regular assessments of the facility's programs and make necessary adjustments to improve quality.
Experience
- A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
- Higher education teaching experience is a plus, particularly in early childhood education settings.
- Proven experience working with students in an educational environment.
- Background in education administration is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to educate staff, parents, and community members about child development principles.
