Job Overview
We are urgently seeking dedicated Home Care Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide compassionate, high-quality care to clients in their homes. This vital role involves delivering personalized nursing services, conducting comprehensive patient assessments, and coordinating care plans to promote health and well-being. A Nursingale RN/LPN provides in-home skilled nursing care to medically fragile clients with complex medical needs, which may include the following care: tracheostomy, ventilator, feeding tube, seizure management, and medication administration. We provide the skills training you may need.
We have full-time and part-time RN/LPN positions available. Shifts may be 8, 9, 10, or 12-hour depending on assignment.
Responsibilities
- Work independently in client homes and/or school settings within the scope of nursing practice
- Provide high-quality nursing care focused on compassionate family-centered care
- Apply professional knowledge and skills to facilitate optimal client health
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Complete client assessments and implement physician orders
- Use clinical judgment and critical thinking skills in emergency situations
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain the highest standards of patient confidentiality and safety at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid RN or LPN license in good standing with relevant state licensing boards
- American Heart Association CPR/BLS certification
- Currently licensed and insured to drive a vehicle in state of residence
- Ability to communicate concisely and deliver safe nursing services in the provision of care
- Ability to cultivate positive relationships with team members, medical professionals, and others working with families
- Proof of up-to-date vaccines including COVID-19 (religious and ADA accommodations will be considered)
- Ability to lift 35 pounds unassisted
- Employment contingent upon successful background check, prior to hire and every 3 months thereafter, and for schools, if applicable.
Employee Benefits:
- Competitive salary: RN's start at $40.25 an hour and get up to $46.58 an hour, based on experience; while LPN start at$27.26 and get up to $31.98 per hour, based on experience.
- Additional pay differential for evening, night, weekend and holiday shifts
- $500 hiring bonus after 90 days, pt/ft status
- $500 bonus after 6 months, pt/ft status
- $1,500 retention bonus after 2 years of successful service, with continue pt/ft status
