Responsibilities
- Deliver prepared food from the kitchen to tables efficiently, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including plating and garnishing to uphold quality standards.
- Clear and reset tables promptly, bussing dishes and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
- Support servers by refilling beverages, delivering condiments, and attending to guest requests with a friendly attitude.
- Operate POS systems such as Jonas POS or Micros POS to process orders or assist with guest transactions when required.
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety and sanitation guidelines during handling and serving of food items.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to ensure seamless service flow during busy periods.
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant operations, or hospitality preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key!
- Knowledge of food handling procedures, safety standards, and proper sanitation practices.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Jonas POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Experience in banquet service, bussing, or kitchen work enhances your ability to excel in this role.
- Strong communication skills with a friendly, energetic approach to guest interactions.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads comfortably.
- Previous hotel or culinary experience is advantageous but not mandatory; a willingness to learn is essential!
