Job Summary:
AJB Construction is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee the final stages of a high-end custom residential project in Montgomery County. We are currently at the drywall stage, with the exterior envelope nearing completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in interior finish coordination, subcontractor management, and site safety. You will also oversee unique scopes, including an active boat dock replacement and an upcoming landscaping project starting in three weeks.
Responsibilities:
- Daily Site Supervision: Manage day-to-day operations to ensure project progress is on schedule and meets quality standards.
- Interior Finish Coordination: Lead the final phase of construction, specifically drywall installation, trim, paint, and interior fixtures.
- Subcontractor Management: Coordinate with various trades to ensure seamless transitions between interior work, boat dock replacement, and upcoming landscaping installation.
- Project Scheduling: Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient job site, ensuring all materials are on-site and ready for install.
- Quality Control: Conduct daily walk-throughs to verify work complies with plans and code requirements.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent, specifically in custom residential builds.
- Proven experience managing finish-out stages, including drywall and interior detailing.
- Ability to manage complex job sites with multiple active scopes (construction, marine/dock, and landscape).
- Strong communication skills to manage subcontractors and project owners effectively.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and project management software.
Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
