Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Associate to join our manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for supporting the production process, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. This position is responsible for performing various tasks in all areas of production, with responsibilities assigned daily by the Production Manager. Tasks may include equipment operations, packaging, general assembly, electrical assembly, or shipping.
Essential Functions:
· Daily staging of parts for powder area.
· Equipment operations, as assigned.
· Assemble and packaging functions, as assigned.
· Other duties, as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Ability to perform data entry function in the manufacturing software.
- Proficient in basic mathematical skills to assist with issuing material to work orders.
- Prior factory or manufacturing equipment operation experience is highly preferred
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, packing/taping, forklifts, and warehouse equipment helpful
- Strong understanding of safety standards in production environments and adherence to safety protocol procedures
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely (up to 50 lbs.)
- Required to read and write English, follow verbal instructions.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Standing and walking are required on a frequent basis.
- Walking up and down a flight of stairs multiple times a day, carrying packages.
- Bending, squatting, pulling/pushing, reaching, and handling, on a frequent basis.
- Hand manipulation and fine manipulation are required on a continuous basis.
- Lifting, carrying, and pulling objects requiring 30 to 50 pounds of force, occasionally
- Lifting, carrying, and pulling objects up to 50 pounds occur frequently.
- Lifting and pulling objects up to 30 pounds, over shoulder height, regularly.
