Job Summary
Randolph Jewelry and Loan is seeking a knowledgeable and customer-oriented Pawn Broker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating, purchasing, and selling a variety of items while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires strong communication skills, basic math proficiency, and the ability to manage inventory effectively. As a Pawn Broker, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the store's reputation and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Evaluate and appraise items brought in by customers for pawn or sale.
- Manage inventory by stocking and organizing merchandise to ensure a well-presented store
- Provide product demonstrations to customers, showcasing the features and benefits of items.
- Maintain accurate records of transactions, including cash handling and sales documentation.
- Deliver excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred, but will train right candidate
- Strong basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transactions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A keen eye for detail when evaluating items for pawn or sale.
- Strong customer service orientation with a focus on building relationships with clients.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Must be able to pass background check
