Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic full-time Salon Housekeeper to ensure our salon environment remains pristine, welcoming, and hygienic at all times. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of treatment rooms, reception areas, restrooms, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies
- Handle laundry services for towels, linens, and other salon textiles efficiently and hygienically
- Maintain sanitation standards by properly handling chemicals and disinfectants in accordance with safety guidelines
- Conduct window cleaning, floor care, pressure washing, and other specialized cleaning tasks to ensure all surfaces are spotless and well-maintained
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) properly during all cleaning activities to ensure safety for yourself and others
- Manage custodial supplies inventory and ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained in good working order
- Follow infection control protocols diligently to prevent contamination and promote a healthy environment for clients and staff
Skills
- Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles within commercial or salon settings
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including window cleaning, floor care, pressure washing, and sanitation practices
- Ability to handle heavy lifting safely when moving furniture or large cleaning equipment
- Familiarity with chemical handling procedures and the use of PPE to ensure safe work practices
- Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with staff and clients when needed
- Experience with laundry services for linens and towels in a commercial environment
- Attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness standards at all times
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
