The Forklift Operator plays a critical role in supporting manufacturing operations by ensuring materials, supplies, and inventory are efficiently moved, stocked, and organized to keep production running smoothly.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support production by safely retrieving, delivering, and organizing materials, supplies, and inventory.
- Ensure work centers are consistently stocked with the materials needed to meet production goals.
- Perform routine quality checks and demonstrate sound, consistent judgment in identifying issues.
- Maintain accurate records through system transactions and required documentation.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid driver’s license required
- Forklift certification required or willingness to obtain (company-sponsored certification provided)
- Ability to work 1st shift hours (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Self-motivated with a positive, dependable attitude
- Flexibility to cross-train across multiple driving roles and support other departmental needs
PAY SUMMARY
1st shift typically starts at $18/hour, with consideration for experience or returning team members. We also offer two performance-based increases in the first year.
