Job Summary

Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage waitlists or reservations with professionalism and friendliness.
- Seat guests efficiently, ensuring smooth flow of service during busy hours.
- Handle cashier duties using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, accurately processing payments and issuing receipts.
- Maintain a clean and organized host stand area, including menus, reservation logs, and payment stations.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering guest inquiries about menu items, restaurant policies, or special requests.
- Assist with phone etiquette by taking reservations and answering questions in a courteous manner.
- Support the team during peak times by helping with guest relations and ensuring a positive dining experience.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, guest services, and hospitality standards.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks calmly in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills to create welcoming interactions.
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is beneficial but not required; training will be provided.
