The Porter performs routine cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a clean, safe, and orderly environment. This position is covered under applicable California wage and hour laws, including meal and rest breaks, overtime provisions, and safe workplace requirements.
Dust furniture and equipment.
Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
Sweep, scrub, finish, and polish floors.
Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
Polish metal fixtures and surfaces.
Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
Empty trash receptacles and ashtrays; clean and disinfect as necessary.
Safely transport trash and waste to designated disposal areas.
Follow proper procedures for handling cleaning agents and chemicals.
Adhere to company safety policies and procedures at all times.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
