Duties
- Provide attentive and loving care for a toddler, ensuring their safety, happiness, and developmental needs are met.
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to children’s dietary requirements and preferences.
- Assist with daily routines such as dressing, bathing, nap times, and educational activities to promote growth and learning.
- Manage household tasks including cleaning, laundry, organizing toys and supplies, and maintaining a tidy living space.
- Support children's educational activities by engaging in age-appropriate play, reading, and developmental exercises.
- Coordinate with family members to ensure smooth daily operations
- Administer basic first aid and CPR when necessary, ensuring safety protocols are always followed.
- Oversee household inventory management and shopping for supplies as needed.
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding children's progress and household updates.
Skills
- Proven experience working with children across different age groups, including infants and toddlers.
- Strong background in childcare
- Exceptional skills in cleaning, residential housekeeping, and organizational tasks to keep the home running smoothly.
- Ability to prepare healthy meals and snacks aligned with nutritional guidelines.
- Valid certification in first aid and CPR; additional training in infant care highly preferred.
- Experience nannying or babysitting multiple children simultaneously with patience and attentiveness.
- Personal transportation assistance skills to safely drive children as needed.
- Knowledge of working within private homes while respecting family privacy and routines.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with family members and caregivers.
