Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Rheumatologist to join our vibrant healthcare team serving Los Angeles County. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations for rheumatologic conditions.
- Develop personalized treatment plans utilizing advanced therapies such as biologic agents, corticosteroids, and disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (DMARDs).
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems and medical imaging tools to track patient progress and coordinate care effectively.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals across specialties—including orthopedics, dermatology, cardiology, and internal medicine—to ensure comprehensive patient management.
- Educate patients on disease processes, medication regimens, lifestyle modifications, and pain management strategies to promote adherence and wellness.
- Stay current with clinical research developments in rheumatology and participate in ongoing professional development activities.
- Assist in discharge planning and follow-up care to optimize long-term health outcomes for patients with complex conditions such as lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, gout, or vasculitis.
Experience
- Post-residency experience specializing in rheumatology with demonstrated proficiency in diagnosing and managing autoimmune and inflammatory diseases.
- Hands-on experience with EMR/EHR systems like Epic or similar platforms for documentation and patient data management.
- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques pertinent to rheumatology such as X-ray interpretation and MRI review.
- Knowledge of healthcare diagnosis protocols across multiple disciplines including dermatology, cardiology, nephrology, neurology, and orthopedics.
- Experience working within hospital settings or outpatient clinics that utilize inpatient and outpatient care models.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams of healthcare professionals to deliver integrated patient care.
- Strong understanding of clinical research methodologies related to rheumatologic therapies and treatments.

Pay: $275,000.00 - $350,000.00 per year
