We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Home Health Office Manager to join us in Boca Raton! As the Office Manager, you will work with the Administrator, Director of Nursing, and CFO as part of our Executive Team to ensure efficiency in scaling systems, operational workflows, and elevating operational infrastructure as the Agency grows!
This is not a position for someone who simply wants to manage a few tasks. The right Office Manager candidate is someone who enjoys a challenge and must be able to demonstrate a sense of ownership accountability in being able to identify and improve upon operational workflows, maintain structure, drive positive outcomes, and lead teams decisively in being a part of our growing Home Health Agency.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILTIES:
Managerial Oversight –
- Monitor & improve operational tracking systems, workflows, reporting structures, and administrative team accountability measures.
- Problem Solving, Guidance, and Managerial Assistance as needed to ensure smooth workflow, compliance, and interdepartmental communications between our Scheduling, Recruitment, HR, and Billing teams.
- Lead, Coach, and Support staff development and improvement.
- Claims oversight of third party claims biller to ensure timely submissions and collections of Insurance Claims.
- Management & Collection of any private pay patient due balances.
Maintain Client Relations – Speaking to patients and/or family members to resolve any issues or questions they may have related to their care, scheduling, billing, etc.
Caregiver Communications – Provide corrective input and constructive criticism related to their job duties, performance, schedule / tardiness, etc.
New Hire Orientations – Provide orientation training to new hires
Payroll Entry
Maintaining Office Supplies
Every third weekend – Remote (from home) phone assistance to scheduling team, caregivers, and patients if needed. May or may not require a few hours of work.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years management experience in a Healthcare Setting
- Accounts Receivable experience using computerized accounting and billing systems such as Quickbooks.
- Thinks in terms of systems, workflows, and outcomes to solve problems
- Must have Proficiency with Microsoft Excel with an ability to analyze financial reports, build new reports, review claims data, and make decisions accordingly.
- Ability to adapt and grow as growth and needs dictate over time.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR Medical Databases
- Ability to naturally create structure and hold teams accountable
- Per Regulatory Requirement : Must pass Level II FBI Background Check.
- Must have a personal vehicle to commute to and from work. This is not a work from home position.
Experience Not Required (But a PLUS)
AS or BS degree in Business or Healthcare Administration, Finance, or Accounting
Bilingual – Spanish or Creole
RN, LPN, or CNA Licensed
Medical Billing / Coding Experience
Financial Background
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
