The University of Kentucky is seeking a X-Ray Technologist to join our outstanding Routine Procedures Team at the University of Kentucky Healthcare. Competitive Pay & Flexible Shifts:
- Choose your shift amongst available options: Days, 7am – 7:30pm, Nights, 7pm – 7:30am, Saturday & Sunday weekend days only, 7am – 7:30pm.
- Full-time compensation starting at $26.47 per hour, with FULL BENEFIT package!
- Float pool pays ranging from $35.00 / hour to $59.00 / hour
Your Role as an Xray Technologist
- Provide diagnostic imaging to patients to assist physicians in providing exceptional patient care.
- Perform procedural services per departmental protocols while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Utilize proper procedures for identifying images, patients to ensure the correct marking for interpretation and use by the medical team.
- Adhere to the UK behavioral standards during interactions with patients, coworkers, and physicians, as well as external and internal customers.

Experience:
Preferred
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification
Licenses & Certifications:
- KY Radiation Operator’s License at time of hire.
- AHA Basic Life Support Certification within 90 days of hire
- Eligible for ARRT at time of hire.
