Job Summary:
Priority 1 Home Services is seeking a reliable, experienced Handyman / Service Technician to join our growing team. This position is perfect for someone who thrives working independently, enjoys variety in their day, and takes pride in completing quality repair work inside and outside of residential homes. Many jobs involve service calls in occupied rental properties, so professionalism, clear communication, and respect for tenants are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general home repairs and maintenance
- Complete rental turnover punch lists
- Conduct paint touch-ups and drywall repairs
- Adjust doors, hardware, and fixtures
- Handle basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks
- Use basic diagnostic tools (e.g., ohmmeter) to troubleshoot issues
- Communicate clearly with tenants and team members
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed
Qualifications:
- Proven handyman or service tech experience
- Knowledge of basic home systems and tools
- Able to work independently without supervision
- Professional appearance and strong communication skills
- Comfortable working in occupied rental homes
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Compensation:
This is a full-time position with consistent work and room for growth. Weekends and holidays off.
