Job Duties
- Assist consumer with personal care activities, including but not limited to: bathing, dressing, grooming, as well as bowel and bladder care.
- Assist consumers with transfers.
- Assist consumer with housekeeping activities, including but not limited to: sweeping, mopping, dusting, and general straightening.
- Assist consumers with laundry activities, including but not limited to washing, drying, folding, and putting away laundry, changing linen, mending clothes, and ironing clothes.
- Assist consumers with meals, including but not limited to: cooking, setting up, feeding, storing meals, and washing dishes.
- Assist consumers with shopping, including but not limited to: grocery shopping, and personal shopping.
- Assist consumer with transportation, including but not limited to: driving consumer's own vehicle, transporting consumer in DSP'sown vehicle, and/or assisting the consumer with public transportation.
- Assist consumers with recreation, including but not limited to: in-home and/or community activities.
- Assist consumers with paperwork, including but not limited to: paying bills, writing letters, completing forms.
- Turn in timesheet and service log to the consumer or their representative for consumer/representative to check and sign every week.
- Turn in a complete, correct, and legible original timesheet and service log to the Director's office by the timesheet due date.
- Attend 16 hours of approved training per year.
- Vehicle is required with a valid Louisiana driver's license
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $9.00 - $12.00 per hour
