JOB SUMMARY
The Wellness Clinic Nurse seeks to protect the community from vaccine preventable diseases by providing immunization services to the general public. The nurse assesses the immunization status of clients, prepares vaccines, administers vaccines, and educates clients and caregivers about immunizations.
Key areas of responsibility
Minimum Requirements
Education:
Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program, as applicable to licensure
Experience:
Prior nursing experience in immunization, ambulatory, community, public health, occupational health, or similar clinical setting preferred
Licensure, Certification, Registration:
Active CT LPN License
Language Skills:
Must be able to read and understand oral and written instructions and effectively communicate information in English.
