We're looking for a dependable Carrier Maintenance Technician to help maintain the safe, reliable operation of carrier systems and production equipment in an industrial environment. In this hands-on role, you'll perform preventative maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs to support efficient operations while delivering exceptional service to our customers and teammates.

What You'll Do

Perform preventative maintenance inspections on carrier systems and related production equipment.

Diagnose and complete manual repairs to maintain safe and reliable equipment operation.

Inspect, repair, and maintain carrier system components, including hangers, dollies, and associated equipment.

Troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimize downtime and support production efficiency.

Complete general equipment repairs using standard hand tools and maintenance practices.

Perform routine facility and equipment upkeep as assigned by management.

Maintain accurate inspections and maintenance activities in accordance with company procedures.

Support maintenance projects at temporary field locations when business needs require.

Identify potential equipment concerns and communicate repair recommendations to supervisors.

Follow all company safety policies, PPE requirements, and customer site procedures.

Maintain a professional appearance and represent MPW positively at customer locations.

Work collaboratively with supervisors and operations teams to ensure maintenance priorities are completed efficiently.
What You'll Need

High school diploma or equivalent; industrial or vocational trade specialization preferred.

One to two years of technical school or related maintenance experience preferred.

Experience in equipment maintenance, manufacturing, or an industrial environment preferred.

Working knowledge of basic hand tools and general mechanical repair techniques.

Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Equipment systems maintenance experience is a plus.

Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Ability to perform physical manual labor throughout the workday while maintaining fitness for duty.

Ability to work in and around confined spaces and wear required respiratory protection when exposed to chemicals, fumes, or similar workplace conditions.

Ability to travel to customer locations for days or weeks as needed and work schedules that may extend beyond a standard 8-hour shift.
