Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Assistant to help with daily operations and ensure a smooth workflow within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Answer phone calls and take orders from customers.
- Maintain office and manufacturing supplies, and order raw materials and inventory.
- Monitor and respond to company email.
- Greet and assist walk-in customers.
- Maintain cemetery records and determine placement of graves and monuments in cemetery as necessary.
- Assist with human resources functions, including recruitment and employee relations.
- Research and order parts and equipment as necessary.
- Submit monthly IRA contributions.
- Prepare annual mailings to customers.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software applications.
About Us
We are an independently owned burial vault manufacturer with locations in Johnstown, Blairsville and Greensburg, approximately 20 employees, and a fleet of vehicles. We also maintain a cemetery in Johnstown. As a small business, every day provides opportunities to wear multiple hats, so the ideal candidate is someone who is flexible and able to adapt to interruptions and changing demands.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
