Sully’s Happy Tails is looking for a caring, reliable, and skilled Lead Dog Groomer to join our team! We are searching for someone who loves working with dogs and takes pride in providing a safe, calm, and positive grooming experience for every pup.
Responsibilities:
Provide professional bathing, drying, brushing, nail trims, ear cleaning, and grooming services with haircuts
Create a comfortable and stress-free environment for dogs during their grooming experience
Safely handle dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments
Communicate with pet parents about grooming services, coat care, and any concerns
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary grooming area
Properly clean and maintain grooming tools and equipment
Follow safe handling practices and prioritize each dog’s comfort and wellbeing
Keep accurate notes on each dog’s grooming preferences and needs
Work alongside the Sully’s Happy Tails team to provide excellent pet care
Qualifications:
Previous professional grooming experience preferred
Knowledge of breed-specific grooming styles and coat types
Comfortable working with dogs of all sizes and personalities
Patient, gentle, and compassionate handling style
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Reliable, positive, and team-oriented
Preferred:
Grooming certification or training
Pet CPR/First Aid certification
Experience in a daycare, salon, or pet care environment
