Medical Assistant – Neurology

We take the time to listen, educate, and support our patients through some of life's most challenging neurological conditions.
As an integral member of our team, you will work closely with our neurologist and physician assistant, caring for patients with Parkinson's disease, movement disorders, migraine, dystonia, tremor, traumatic brain injury, memory disorders, and other complex neurological conditions. We are searching for someone who is warm, dependable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in creating an exceptional experience for every patient who walks through our doors.

Qualifications
- Current California Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) License required
- Minimum 2 years of Medical Assistant experience in a physician office or specialty practice
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Professional, dependable, and compassionate
- Ability to multitask while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR)
- Neurology experience is a plus but not required
Responsibilities
- Room patients and obtain vital signs
- Perform phlebotomy
- Assist with injections, infusion therapy, and in-office procedures
- Prepare exam and procedure rooms
- Document patient information accurately in the EMR
- Coordinate referrals, diagnostic testing, and follow-up care
- Assist with medication refills and prior authorizations
- Support the physician and physician assistant during patient care
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinical environment
- Deliver an exceptional patient experience with every interaction
