Education and/or Experience
High School diploma or equivalent required. Some college preferred. Pass pre-employment physical, background check and drug screen. See essential qualifications.
Skills
Operation and control- Ability to use equipment to perform duties of job safely and effectively
Mathematics- Knowledge of basic math including adding, subtracting, multiplication, division, fractions and measurements
Operation Monitoring- Ability to watch gauges, dials, or display screens to ensure proper operation of equipment
Leadership- ability to lead, direct and guide individuals and teams
Computer skills- ability to use Microsoft office suite including Outlook, Word and Excel
- Minimum 2 years leading/supervising production employees.
- Experience in the coating, chemical industry/paints.
- Experience with direct reports, to recruit and conduct performance appraisals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to work in a team oriented environment.
- SAP experience
- Intermediate level computer skills (i.e. spreadsheets, word-processing, email) to prepare statistical reports.
- Ability to creatively solve problems while maintaining a timely and cost effective approach.
- Good organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to work rotating shifts.
- Ability to work under pressure in a deadline driven environment.
