Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Package Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently packaging products, ensuring quality standards are met, and maintaining a safe and organized workspace. Your mechanical knowledge, familiarity with warehouse equipment, and hands-on skills will drive the smooth flow of our production process. - 12 hour shift rotations, 7am-7:30pm and 7pm-7:30am
Responsibilities
- Operate packaging machinery and hand tools to assemble and prepare products for shipment
- Use pallet jacks to move raw materials and finished goods within the warehouse
- Conduct routine inspections of packaging lines to identify and resolve mechanical issues promptly
- Follow CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) guidelines to ensure product quality and compliance
- Maintain accurate records of packaged items, batch numbers, and production logs
- Assist with inventory management by organizing materials and supplies in the warehouse
- Perform basic math calculations for measurements, quantities, and quality checks as needed
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred, with familiarity in packaging operations
- Ability to operate pallet jacks, and hand tools safely and efficiently
- Strong understanding of basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Knowledge of CGMP standards applicable to manufacturing environments
- Physical ability to stand, lift, bend, and perform manual tasks throughout the shift
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
