Ironcore is expanding its Texas presence and seeking a high-performing Senior Account Executive to lead business development efforts throughout the state. This is a unique opportunity to help shape our growth strategy while representing a company uniquely focused on cybersecurity, managed IT services, and regulatory compliance for community banks.
Community banks are under increasing pressure from cybersecurity threats, regulatory scrutiny, staffing challenges, and evolving technology requirements.
Ironcore helps financial institutions in 20+ states navigate these challenges through secure, compliant, and relationship-driven technology solutions.
This individual will be responsible for building relationships with bank leadership and positioning managed IT and cybersecurity solutions, as well as leveraging existing partnerships with community banking organizations and vendors.
Compensation includes competitive base salary, uncapped commissions, incentives tied to new business acquisition, and additional opportunities tied to territory growth and customer retention.
Key Objectives
- Develop, retain and grow new financial institution relationships in Texas market
- Demonstrate knowledge and relationship management through revenue generation, client satisfaction, and customer retention
- Drive market awareness for Ironcore via attendance at trade shows and banking organization events
- Creation of referral networks with vendor partners and customers
- Preferred candidate will have the ability to progress to Territory Management role, including oversight/management of additional Account Executives and a high level of input on go-to-market strategies
Target Profile
Required Experience
- 8+ years in B2B technology or services sales into regulated customer environments
- Proven success in full-cycle, quota-carrying sales roles
- Experience in consultative / relationship-driven selling
Preferred
- Banking, credit union, or regulated industry experience
- Experience with cybersecurity or managed IT services
- Exposure to regulatory environments (FFIEC, GLBA, etc.)
- Existing relationships with Texas community banks and financial institutions
Success Factors
- Ability to earn trust with senior bank leadership
- Understand how to connect technology decisions to business outcomes
- Self-starter with ownership of territory development
- Prefer consultative selling over transactional sales
Territory & Coverage
- Primary focus: Texas
- Field-based role with regular travel for client meetings and territory development
- Required travel throughout Texas to attend and support community bank events sponsored by Ironcore
- Expected to develop local partnerships and industry relationships
Compensation Structure
- Base salary + uncapped commission. Top performers can exceed $200K annually.
- Incentives tied to new business growth, pipeline development, and customer retention and satisfaction
