Tandem is a family operated trucking company with over 50 years of experience in the trucking and logistics industry. We are growing and looking to expand our existing fleet of drivers! We currently have opportunities for both 2-axle flatbed drivers and 8-axle flatbed drivers (Michigan focused). These positions offer more opportunity for home time and flexibility on the road. We are looking for passionate drivers with flatbed, dry van, or similar types of truck driving experience.

Pay and Benefits:
- Ability to earn $95,000 + as a B-Train driver
- **$2,500 Bonus Pay for Orientation Training**
- Weekly minimums of $1,425 for B-train drivers

About:
- Region consists of mostly Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Wisconsin, Illinois, Kentucky and Tennessee
- Average age of trucks is 2 years old. We target 4-year trade cycles.
- In addition to our 2-axle flatbeds, Tandem also operates a large fleet of 8-axle flatbeds, B-trains, and several 53’ dry vans
- Main operating terminal in Grayling, MI with 24/7 access to driver lounge and showers. A second smaller office is located in St. Louis, MI.
- Drivers are home every weekend and guaranteed minimum miles. Drivers may also choose to be home every other weekend, with higher mileage guarantees.
Job Requirements:
- Class A CDL required with a minimum 1 year of experience as a flatbed driver
- Truck Driving: 2 years (Required)
- Ability to pass DOT physical exam (Required)
- Must pass pre-employment drug testing (Required)
- Doubles Endorsement (Preferred, but willing to help driver obtain & train)
- Extensive knowledge of FMCSA and DOT regulations
- Willingness to haul freight into Canada (highly desired) and comes with additional bonuses
- Current doubles endorsement highly desired
- Experience hauling b-trains highly desired
Job Description:
- Participate in periodic DOT trainings
- Random DOT drug screens
- Haul freight throughout the State of Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Wisconsin, and Ontario (Canada)
- Verify shipment accuracy with paperwork and collect proof of delivery signatures
- Have a professional attitude and be courteous to staff and customers
- Ability to throw straps to properly secure cargo
- Willingness to pull various trailer types is highly desired
- Willingness to throw tarps is desired, but not require
