About the Role
Foremost Contracting & Building, LLC is looking for an organized, detail-oriented Construction Office Administrator to join our team. This role is a little different from a typical office admin position — in addition to keeping our office running smoothly, you'll handle light bookkeeping tasks like invoicing, accounts payable, and payroll support. If you're someone who thrives on staying organized, enjoys variety in your day, and has a knack for numbers, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Process vendor bills and invoices, and assist with outgoing payments (accounts payable)
- Support payroll processing, including reviewing and organizing employee timesheets
- Answer phones, greet clients and subcontractors, and manage day-to-day office correspondence
- Maintain organized files for contracts, permits, invoices, and vendor records
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and coordinate calendars for the team
- Order office and jobsite supplies as needed
- Assist with general administrative support for project managers and ownership
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of office administration experience, ideally within the construction or contracting industry
- Comfort with light bookkeeping tasks (invoicing, AP/AR, payroll support) — formal accounting certification not required
- Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets; experience with construction-specific software (e.g., AutoDesk, Procore, Foundation, or similar) is a plus, but we're open to training the right person
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Reliable, professional communication skills — both written and over the phone
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced construction office environment
Why Join Us
- Competitive salary based on experience
- Flexible schedule
- Supportive, tight-knit team environment
- Opportunity to grow with a hands-on role that touches every part of the business
Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
Benefits:
- 401(k) matching
- Paid time off
- Parental leave
Work Location: In person
