Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper to join our team, committed to maintaining a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents or clients. Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and carpet cleaning to uphold high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
- Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Manage laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing.
- Use manual handling techniques safely when lifting heavy items or moving furniture during deep cleaning or outdoor work.
- Maintain the cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and specialized floor care methods.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific needs and provide excellent customer service.
- Ensure all cleaning surfaces are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected following established protocols.
- Operate janitorial equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to safety guidelines for custodial work.
- Assist with outdoor cleaning tasks as needed, including patio or garden area maintenance.
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping roles with familiarity in janitorial or custodial work.
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures including sanitation standards, surface cleaning, floor care, and carpet cleaning techniques.
- Ability to handle cleaning equipment and supplies responsibly while following safety protocols.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively within scheduled timeframes.
- Physical capability for manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting, bending, reaching, and outdoor work activities.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about their expectations.
- Experience with laundry processes and using various cleaning detergents appropriately.
- Familiarity with dusting techniques and maintaining cleanliness of all surfaces in residential environments.
- Previous experience in housekeeper management or coordinating housekeeping activities is a plus.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
