The Regional Float Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) provides direct therapy and staffing support across designated Behaven Kids clinic locations within the Omaha area.
This position is ideal for a dependable, flexible, and adaptable RBT who enjoys working with different clients, treatment teams, and clinic environments. The Regional Float RBT will primarily provide coverage for employee call-outs, client needs, staffing changes, and other scheduling gaps.
This is a part-time position with a guarantee of 20 paid hours per week, provided the employee maintains the availability required for the position and is available to accept assignments at designated Omaha-area clinics. When direct client coverage is not available, the employee may be assigned training, administrative support, clinic projects, or other duties consistent with the RBT role.
$20 to $22 per hour, based on experience

Provide direct therapy to children with autism and other developmental needs under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
Provide coverage for employee absences, schedule changes, client needs, and other staffing gaps.
Travel between designated Behaven Kids clinic locations within the Omaha area.
Adapt to different clients, treatment teams, schedules, and clinic environments.
Review and follow individualized treatment plans, behavior protocols, and client-specific procedures.
Use evidence-based teaching strategies to develop language, play, social interaction, communication, and self-help skills.
Provide a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment.
Interact with children in a professional, patient, and positive manner.
Implement the Behaven Kids model of care and curriculum.
Implement treatment goals and collect accurate data.
Prepare updates and maintain required documentation and client records.
Communicate treatment progress and concerns with supervisors and other members of the treatment team.
Complete assigned training, clinic support, administrative tasks, or other appropriate duties when direct client coverage is not available.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Must be at least 19 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Current Registered Behavior Technician certification in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board required.
Reliable transportation and the ability to travel between designated Omaha-area clinic locations required.
Ability to maintain the availability required for the position and accept assignments at different clinic locations.
Strong reliability, adaptability, communication, and time-management skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in an active environment and lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to respond professionally to schedule or location changes with reasonable notice.
Experience working with children.
Experience working with children diagnosed with autism or other developmental disabilities.
Associate degree or higher in early childhood education, psychology, human services, or a related field.
Designated Behaven Kids clinic locations throughout the Omaha, Nebraska area.
Part-time, guaranteed 20 paid hours per week.
Compensation is commensurate with experience. Eligibility for benefits may vary based on employment status, scheduled hours, and applicable plan requirements.
