Starting Salary: $51,006.00
JOB SUMMARY: The Maintenance Foreman is to perform preventive maintenance and repairs upon all HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing devices, and gas equipment located in the institution. This role will be responsible for assisting in any maintenance duties assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor, Chief of Support Services, Superintendent or Designee. This role will require the candidate to build/construct various projects around the facility. The candidate will also be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints.
DUTIES: This position may not include all the duties listed nor do the list of responsibilities include all tasks which may be found in this position.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on all HVAC, electrical, mechanical systems, and subsystems within the facility.
- Supervise offender workers while on facility grounds, or while conducting various non-profit community projects off of facility grounds.
- Maintain facility wastewater system.
- Maintain tools and test equipment associated with the facility to include updating the annual tool/equipment inventory.
- Maintain the security and appearance of exterior facility grounds, buildings, roads, fencing, and landscaping.
- Maintain facility trouble logs and worksheets.
- Build/fabricate items as necessary.
- Maintain inventory and security of all tools being used.
- Be available for emergencies at the facility
- Any additional duties as directed by the Superintendent/designee.
