Reports To: Principal
Beginning: August 27, 2026
Hours: 35 hours per week
8:15AM – 3:45PM
School year/Part-time
Qualifications:
-
CPI training preferred
-
Good communication/collaboration skills

Must meet Federal Standards of Every Student Succeeds Act requirement of
-
60 credit hours OR Associates Degree OR pass ETS parapro assessment
Job Responsibilities:
-
Assistance with students with special needs
-
Knowledge of behavioral strategies
-
Work closely with teachers to collaborate on accommodations and IEP requirements
-
Assist classroom teacher with individual's instruction in core subjects

Successfully work in a team environment
-
Other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

Reaching: Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.

Lifting: Raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position to position. This factor is important if it occurs to a considerable degree and requires the substantial use of the upper extremities and back muscles.

Grasping: Applying pressure to an object with the fingers and palm.

Talking: Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken work; those activities where detailed or import spoken instructions must be conveyed to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly.
