The Maintenance Supervisor plays a critical hands-on role in the day-to-day upkeep and functionality of the hotel’s physical assets. Focused on preventative maintenance and immediate repairs, the Maintenance Supervisor ensures that guest areas, back-of-house spaces, and equipment are maintained in excellent working order. Through leadership, technical expertise, and an unwavering commitment to quality, the Maintenance Supervisor helps uphold the property’s aesthetic standards, operational efficiency, and guest satisfaction.
This role bridges leadership and front-line maintenance operations, with a focus on troubleshooting, performing repairs, and overseeing a small team of general maintenance technicians.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Execute hands-on maintenance and repair tasks across multiple trades, including minor electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and painting work.
Monitor, assign, and prioritize maintenance work orders in coordination with housekeeping, front desk, and food & beverage teams to minimize guest disruption.
Professional Characteristics:
Solid working knowledge of hotel maintenance systems and equipment, including but not limited to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and kitchen systems.
This is a full-time, on-site leadership role that requires schedule flexibility, including availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as needed. Occasional travel to attend company meetings, training, or off-site events may be required.
