We are looking for a Medical Assistant to join our team and provide exceptional patient care in our OB/GYN practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for taking vital signs, assisting with exams, preparing patient charts, scheduling appointments, and other duties as assigned. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, be organized and detail-oriented, and have a strong understanding of medical terminology.
Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians with patient examinations.
- Perform laboratory tests and document results.
- Provide patient education and counseling on health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Schedule patient appointments and maintain medical records.
- Assist with minor surgical procedures.
- Perform ob/gyn procedures such as Pap smears, pelvic exams, and breast exams.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.20 per hour
