Overview
HarborLand2C, LLC - Tacoma, Washington, is seeking an experienced Marine Welder/ Fabricator to join our growing Tacoma Operations. We are not a production shop.
Our Crews perform voyage repairs, emergency repairs, structural steel repairs, pipe repairs, machinery repairs, fabrication, machining support, and custom component manufacturing for commercial vessels, governments vessels, and industrial customers throughout the Pacific Northwest.
Every day is different. One day you may be repairing a ship alongside the dock. The next day you may be fabricating a custom replacement part, assisting with machinery repair, or helping solve a problem that has kept a vessel from sailing.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of ship repair, shipbuilding, heavy industrial, or related welding
experience
◦ SMAW (Stick)
◦ MIG
◦ TIG
◦ Carbon Arc Gouging (CAC-A)
- Ability to safely operate oxy-fuel cutting equipment and fitter's torch
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and fabrication sketches
- Ability to pass a 6G pipe welding test
- TWIC Card or ability to obtain one
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and occasional emergency callouts when
required
- Marine structural repair experience
- Pipe welding experience
- Additional Preferred Qualifications
- Experience operating CNC plasma tables and/or CNC waterjet equipment
- Ability to create, modify, and troubleshoot CNC cutting programs
- Experience fabricating custom parts from field measurements, templates,
drawings, or sketches
- Equipment maintenance and troubleshooting experience
- Leadership or foreman experience

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
