Complete Dental is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team in Meridianville. In this vital role, you will contribute to our mission of providing exceptional dental care by assisting with various procedures and ensuring patient comfort. Complete Dental is a local dentist owned and operated dental practice. Complete Dental provides a variety of dental treatments that are comfortable, safe, and effective.
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
- Take and develop X-rays as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow
- Support the dental team in delivering high-quality care.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification in Dental Assisting is required
- Proficiency in EMR systems, such as Open Dental
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and infection control practices
- 2+ years of Experience with chairside assisting and taking X-rays
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is a plus.
- Ability to work until 7pm
