Director of Social Services
The Orchards at Canterbury on the Lake, located in Waterford Township, Michigan, is currently seeking a Director of Social Services to join our team.

Director of Social Services Duties and Responsibilities:
Demonstrate knowledge of age-specific developmental factors specific to adult and geriatric residents, and plan social services programs accordingly
Develop and implement social services programs for residents with various needs, including therapeutic, neurological, and dementia care
Promptly follow up on admission inquiries and assess the needs of prospective residents to determine their suitability for our facility
Director of Social Services Qualifications and Skills:
Experience as a Director of Social Work in a large long-term care setting is preferred
A Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field is preferred, with at least one year of experience in the social work field required
