Canoe Bay is seeking dedicated, team-oriented individuals with a positive attitude and a passion for serving others to join our housekeeping team. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work at the Midwest's Best Getaway on a stunning 300-acre property featuring luxury accommodations, an award-winning restaurant, an organic garden, and miles of scenic hiking trails.
Located just 15 minutes east of Chetek, WI, Canoe Bay is known for providing peaceful, relaxing, and romantic getaways while exceeding our guests' expectations. We are looking for someone who is driven, dependable, detail-oriented, and enjoys working as part of a supportive team. Previous experience in hospitality, custodial services, or housekeeping is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain guest rooms and public areas by sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing, and sanitizing.
- Prepare and set up guest rooms to Canoe Bay standards, ensuring every detail is ready for arriving guests.
- Wash, dry, fold, and organize linens and laundry while maintaining quality standards.
- Inspect rooms to ensure they meet Canoe Bay's high standards.
- Properly care for cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns.
- Respond to guest requests professionally and courteously.
- Work collaboratively with team members to provide an exceptional guest experience.
Qualifications
- Experience in hotel housekeeping or commercial cleaning preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning products, laundry procedures, and safe cleaning practices.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks.
- Excellent time management skills.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team-first mentality.

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
