Currently managing or assistant-managing a grocery store, convenience store, restaurant, or other retail operation? This role will look familiar — solo judgment calls on inventory, equipment problems, and running a location without someone hovering are exactly what this job is built around.
Hands-on Operations Manager needed for five self-service laundry locations. This is not a desk job. You will pick up and deliver supplies, stock vending machines, handle parts inventory, walk the stores weekly, and keep everything running.
You will plan efficient routes and combine tasks while traveling between locations rather than making separate trips for every item. We have dedicated maintenance people for equipment repairs and a cleaning crew for cleaning — your job is to keep it all coordinated and catch problems early.
Important: most repairs here are handled in-house. We have the tools, the parts, and the people. We are looking for someone resourceful who works a problem before reaching for a contractor — not someone who calls a trade for every issue. Electrical always goes to a licensed electrician, and the owner makes the final call on anything sent outside.
The role also includes vendor coordination, inventory ordering, customer messages, and a simple weekly report. ATM and cash responsibilities are added over time, once you know the business.
Experience managing or assistant-managing a grocery store, convenience store, car wash, restaurant, or similar operation is a strong fit. Multi-site experience is a plus but not required. Must be comfortable with physical work, able to work independently, and have a reliable vehicle. No laundromat experience needed — we train.
Pay: $45,000–$55,000 (competitive with manager-level pay at retail/grocery chains) + $300/month medical stipend + mileage at the current IRS rate. Flexible start time, some admin work from home, after-hours calls are rare. Background check required. Target start: early October.
