Kodem Son Tang Law Group (KST), an all minority-women owned, growing and fast-paced Immigration Firm located in Fairfax, Virginia, has an opening for a Korean Bilingual Paralegal. We are a rapidly evolving practice that specializes in a variety of business/employment based immigration cases (E-2, L-1, O-1, H-1B, NIW, EB1A, etc.) and serving corporate and individual clients from all over the world in various industries. Accordingly, our Korean Bilingual Paralegal will have the opportunity to assist with preparing legal documents for many, if not all, of these case types, and gain valuable hands-on experience under the supervision of the Attorneys.
Role Description
This is a full-time or part-time hybrid role for a Korean Bilingual Paralegal, based in the Washington DC-Northern VA area. The Korean Bilingual Paralegal will assist attorneys by conducting legal research, preparing legal documents, reviewing and organizing case files, and assisting with case preparation. Responsibilities include collaborating with clients, managing communications in both English and Korean, and ensuring the accuracy of documentation. Providing administrative and organizational support as needed will also be key to this role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Law and expertise in Legal Document Preparation
- Experience working in immigration law.
- Strong communication skills in both Korean and English, written and verbal
- Attention to detail and excellent writing skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced legal environment under tight deadlines
- Paralegal certification or relevant education is a plus
- Familiarity with legal software and general office tools
KST is looking for a highly motivated Korean Bilingual Paralegal who can work both independently and as a self-starter, contribute as a team player on our cohesive team, meet deadlines, and possess excellent writing skills with great attention to detail. Candidates should excel at time-management, research and writing, and strive to empathize with our clients’ unique situations and needs. While KST represents clients from all over the world in a variety of business immigration cases, a large percentage of our clients are Korean companies and individuals, and therefore, Korean language ability is a must.
Compensation based on qualification and experience.
Visa sponsorship may be possible.
Pay: $15.00 - $28.00 per hour
