American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU position requiring 2 years of experience, Epic proficiency, and a valid LA or compact RN license.

Work in the ICU within a float pool position
-
Float required to multiple ICUs including CVICU, NICU, SICU, MICU, TICU, and Burn ICU
-
Patient ratio of 1:2
-
Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
-
Every other weekend required
-
Holiday coverage required
-
No on-call responsibilities
-
Epic EMR experience required
-
Active LA RN license or Compact RN license required at time of consideration

Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience required
-
Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
-
Preferred certifications: CPI and CCRN
-
Prior charge nurse experience preferred
-
Epic charting system experience required
-
Experience with critical care skills such as ventilator management, IV therapy, central and arterial line management, and hemodynamic monitoring
-
This unit does not accept first-time travelers

Navy blue scrubs required

Strict maximum of 5 days RTO during the assignment

Local candidates within 75 miles are accepted at the local rate

Candidates who were previously permanent staff within the health system must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible for travel assignments

Provide direct patient care within a fast-paced, multi-specialty ICU float pool environment
