We are currently seeking motivated and focused laborer/driver/warehouse worker to join our medium sized construction company, based in Fairfield, NJ.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Accurately and safely pull and stage construction materials, furniture, and equipment for construction job sites.
- Provide deliveries as needed to our job sites in a safe and timely manner
- Unload and accurately receive incoming product; includes inspecting for and reporting damage to management
- Work independently or with minimal direct supervision
- Frequent stooping, bending, walking, carrying, and lifting (50-75 lbs.)
- Perform warehousing and merchandise handling tasks in all phases of operations
- Assist management with ensuring building and product security; including inventory and damage control
- Ability to wok under pressure and maintain composure
- Ability to work flexible hours a must
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid US driver's license
- High School Education is preferred
- Must have a customer service-oriented attitude
- Must be able to work in a warehouse facility
- Must be able to pass all DOT requirements including Physical, background screening and obtain medical card.
Experience:
- Commercial Driving: 2 years (Preferred)
- Warehouse: 2 years (Preferred)
- Basic construction knowledge (Preferred)
Job Type: Full-time / must be flexible with hours (sometimes may need to work nights and weekends)
