Overview
If you are a licensed plumber in the Cumming/Dawsonville/Gainesville area, this is the opportunity for you. We are seeking a motivated and skilled Plumber specializing in Filtration System Installation. This role is currently a 1099 position, with W2 available in the future. Installs take 1-3 hours, with flat rate pay per unit unit installed(typically $300-400). In this role, you will be responsible for installing and repairing water filtration systems across residential properties. Installs include, but are not limited to, PVC PEX and copper piping, trenching and well tie-ins etc. Your expertise will ensure that water systems operate efficiently, meet local building codes, and provide safe, clean water for our clients. Duties
- Install and repair filtration systems for residential water setups using hand tools, power tools, and plumbing equipment
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans to accurately assemble and install filtration systems.
- Collaborate with clients to provide exceptional customer service by explaining system functions and maintenance procedures clearly
- Follow all safety protocols, local building codes, and industry standards during installation and repair projects
Qualifications
- Proven plumbing experience with a strong background in softener installation and repair
- Knowledge of construction plumbing, residential plumbing, and water treatment solutions
- Skilled in soldering, pvc, pex piping
- Familiarity with plumbing inspection schematics, blueprints reading, and interpreting technical drawings
- Mechanical knowledge of water systems including pumps, valves, filters, and related components
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools (such as pipe cutters), plumbing system maintenance equipment, and construction site machinery safely
- Experience with construction site procedures including schematics interpretation and blueprint reading
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively to clients
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during installations or repairs
- Additional skills such as HVAC knowledge or handyman experience are a plus
Pay: $100.00 per hour
