Commercial Lightning Protection (CLP) is looking for a motivated Human Resources Intern to join our team for approximately 25 hours per week. This is a hands-on internship designed for a college student who wants real-world exposure to Human Resources in a growing organization.
The role will have a strong focus on recruiting and talent acquisition, while also providing experience with onboarding, offboarding, employee records, HR administration, and other areas of the employee lifecycle.
We are willing to work around a student's school schedule.

What You'll Need
- Currently enrolled in a college or university program pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field
- Interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Professional and comfortable communicating with candidates and employees
- Strong organization and attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and learning new systems
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on tasks
- Approximately 25 hours of availability per week
- Previous HR experience is not required
What You'll Do
- Assist with job postings and applicant tracking
- Review applications and resumes
- Conduct candidate outreach and help coordinate phone screens
- Schedule interviews with candidates and hiring managers
- Assist with recruiting events and open interview days
- Maintain candidate records and recruiting documentation
- Help track recruiting activity and hiring metrics
- Support communication with candidates throughout the hiring process
- Help prepare new-hire paperwork and onboarding materials
- Assist with orientation preparation and new-hire coordination
- Track completion of required onboarding documents
- Assist with employee offboarding documentation and administrative processes
- Maintain organized and accurate employee records
- Assist with personnel file audits and document management
- Help update HR trackers, spreadsheets, and systems
- Support HR projects and employee engagement initiatives
- Assist with other day-to-day HR needs as they arise

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
