Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and skilled Line Cooks and Prep Cooks to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of culinary techniques. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment while adhering to food safety standards. Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Assist in menu planning and meal preparation, ensuring timely service during peak hours.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper food handling and storage practices.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.
- Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with food safety guidelines.
- Participate in catering events as required, providing excellent service to guests.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a culinary role or restaurant environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of meal preparation techniques and menu planning.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment while maintaining quality standards.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
- A passion for the food industry and a desire to learn and grow within the culinary field.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
