Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Delivery Driver and Appliances Hookup Specialist! In this energetic role, you will be the friendly face delivering appliances directly to customers’ homes and expertly connecting them to existing electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. Duties
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver appliances to residential locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols
- Unload appliances carefully and efficiently at customer sites, ensuring no damage occurs during transit or setup
- Install appliances by connecting electrical wiring, plumbing, and mechanical components according to schematics and manufacturer instructions
- Troubleshoot equipment issues on-site using hand tools, power tools, and technical knowledge to resolve problems promptly
- Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions to ensure correct installation procedures
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining appliance features, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on appliances post-installation and perform minor repairs or adjustments as needed
Requirements
- Proven experience in appliance repair, installation, or field service roles with a focus on electrical work, plumbing, or mechanical systems
- Strong knowledge of schematics, ladder use for electrical setups, and troubleshooting equipment issues
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques required for appliance hookup
- Familiarity with refrigeration systems and electrical experience related to appliance operation is highly desirable
- Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles safely in various environments
- Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics accurately for precise installations
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional communication style
- Experience working with maintenance, repair & operations (MRO) procedures in a field setting
