Summit Dental is a privately-owned, well established dental practice located in Asheville, NC. We are currently seeking a full-time (M-Th) and part-time (flexible: 1 to 2 days/week) Registered Dental Hygienist to join our amazing, patient-centered team.
The perfect candidate would be an energetic and patient-focused hygienist with a great attitude, exceptional interpersonal skills, and excellent attention to detail. As an integral part of the dental team, the dental hygienist's tasks include but are not limited to:
- Review and update patient history records
- Patient charting
- Establish and maintain exceptional patient care relationships
- Perform adult/child prophylaxis
- Perform diagnostic x-rays
- Perform periodontal therapy and perio charting
- Perform sealant placement and fluoride treatment as needed
- Sterilization of room and equipment
- Adhere to appropriate Policies and Procedures
- Assist the physician(s) and other staff members as needed
Qualifications include:
- Dental hygiene certification from an accredited dental hygiene school
- Current NC Hygiene Licensure
- Maintain BLS, OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control training as required by law
