Duties
- Manage and maintain the QuickBooks Desktop accounting software, ensuring data accuracy and integrity across financial records.
- Perform detailed inventory reconciliations.
- Enter quotes, sales and purchase orders.
- Utilize spreadsheets and Quickbooks Desktop reports to assist management.
- Maintain thorough documentation of all bookkeeping activities and ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Work with and support the sales team to complete their projects.
- Communicate with vendors on purchase orders and deliveries.
Skills
- Extensive experience with QuickBooks Desktop, familiarity with QuickBooks Online is a plus.
- Proficiency in using spreadsheets for data analysis, reporting, and account tracking; advanced Excel skills are highly desirable.
- Solid understanding of financial concepts such as debits & credits, journal entries, general ledger reconciliation, and account analysis.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in account reconciliation and record maintenance.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with the sales team, clients and suppliers
