Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and dedicated Caregiver to join our team in providing exceptional support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care and daily living support. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for residents or clients by delivering personalized care with kindness, patience, and professionalism. Duties
- Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor patient health by observing vital signs, reporting changes, and maintaining accurate care records
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences
- Medication reminders following appropriate guidelines and care plans
- Engage residents in social activities and provide companionship to promote mental well-being
- Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning and sanitation tasks
- Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident lifts to ensure safe transfers and mobility assistance
- Document patient observations, care activities, and incident reports accurately and promptly
Requirements
- Prior experience working in assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care settings preferred
- Knowledge of Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder
- Certification in CPR, First Aid, and HIPAA compliance required
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks as needed
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to observe and report on patient conditions effectively
- Compassionate attitude with a strong commitment to providing respectful, person-centered care
- Experience working with diverse populations including seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those requiring long-term care support
