Tell's Tavern is looking for energetic, friendly, and dependable Bartender/Server to join our growing team! Whether you're crafting cocktails behind the bar or delivering outstanding table service, you'll help create memorable dining experiences for every guest.
We're seeking hospitality professionals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, thrive on teamwork, and take pride in delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests with a friendly, professional attitude.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with Illinois liquor laws.
- Deliver food and drinks promptly while ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Recommend menu items, specials, beer, wine, and cocktails.
- Process payments accurately using the POS system.
- Maintain a clean, organized bar and dining area.
- Restock supplies and assist with opening and closing duties.
- Verify identification and serve alcohol responsibly.
- Work closely with kitchen and hotel staff to ensure an outstanding guest experience.
Qualifications
- Previous bartending or serving experience preferred.
- BASSET Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and a team player.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 pounds.
- Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required.
