Join our dynamic team as a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist, where you will play a vital role in improving communication skills and enhancing the quality of life for young children. Little Communicators is a growing pediatric therapy practice serving Ashburn and the greater Loudoun County area, with a newly opened office in Winchester. We provide speech and occupational therapy to children from preschool through high school in homes, schools, and office settings.
We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our caring and collaborative pediatric therapy team. This position offers flexible scheduling and a steady flow of clients, with personalized matching to families in locations that align with your preferred service areas.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify speech, language, and swallowing disorders in pediatric populations.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's unique needs, focusing on early intervention strategies.
- Deliver engaging and effective speech therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques to improve communication skills.
- Collaborate with teachers, caregivers, and healthcare providers to ensure cohesive support and consistent therapy approaches.
- Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting therapy plans as needed to maximize outcomes.
- Maintain detailed documentation of assessments, treatment sessions, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare standards.
- Educate families about speech development milestones and provide strategies for ongoing support at home.
Skills
- Experience working with children in school or clinical settings, with a strong understanding of pediatrics preferred.
- Experience in speech therapy techniques tailored for early intervention and developmental delays preferred.
- Experience in speech production and swallowing functions preferred.
- Strong patient care skills combined with excellent communication abilities to engage children and families effectively.

What We Are Looking For
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Virginia SLP license
- Experience working in pediatric settings preferred
