Duties
- Supervise children during play, meal times, naps, and structured activities to ensure safety and well-being
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social development for toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children
- Provide attentive care for infants, including feeding, diapering, and comforting as needed
- Maintain open communication with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and daily experiences
- Follow all mandated reporting laws to ensure child safety in cases of suspected neglect or abuse
- Manage behavior using positive reinforcement techniques to foster respectful interactions among children
- Assist with classroom organization, activity setup, and maintaining a clean and safe environment
Requirements

- High School Diploma
- Certifications in First Aid and CPR (training options available)
- Strong child supervision skills combined with the ability to manage behavior effectively
- Ability to plan engaging activities tailored to different developmental stages
- Excellent communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration
- Familiarity with daycare or classroom experience, babysitting, nannying, or youth program teaching is preferred
- Understanding of (or willingness to learn) mandated reporting laws and childhood safety protocols
